Northland Alumni

Northland Primary Alumni Association (NPAA) is the official alumni association of Northland Primary School. We are a community of former students who share a common bond — our years at Northland Primary School.

Founded to preserve and strengthen the ties between alumni and the school, NPAA serves as a bridge between past and present — connecting generations of Northland students and giving back to the community that shaped us.

Our Mission

To unite Northland Primary alumni, foster lifelong friendships, support the school community, and celebrate the shared experiences that define our Northland journey.

Our Vision

A vibrant and engaged alumni community that honours the legacy of Northland Primary School while creating new opportunities and memories for future generations.

Our Journey

NPAA traces its roots to 2003, when then-Principal Mdm Moliah Binte Hashim first mooted the idea of forming an alumni body for Northland Primary School. What began as an informal effort to reconnect former students took shape during the school's 15th anniversary celebrations on 11 April 2003, where an initial membership drive was launched through a barbecue organised by the alumni committee.

Over the years, this early alumni network grew steadily in both structure and purpose. From membership drives and alumni gatherings, it evolved into a more organised community committed to strengthening ties between alumni and the school, supporting school events, and creating meaningful opportunities for former students to contribute.

A key milestone came in 2016, when Northland Primary Alumni Association was formally registered with the Registry of Societies. This followed a year-long engagement effort with the wider alumni community and marked an important step in NPAA's growth from a youth-led volunteer group into an alumni association for all former Northland students. With a clearer organisational structure comprising the Main Wing and Youth Alumni Wing, NPAA was able to create more pathways for alumni across different generations to stay connected and play an active role in the community.

Today, NPAA continues to serve as a bridge between past and present — preserving Northland's shared heritage while creating new opportunities for alumni engagement, service, and leadership.
